Project Overview
This project will improve the safety and longevity of I-70 by milling and paving the interstate and the ramps at three interchanges: Route 519/Eighty Four (Exit 25), Dunningsville (Exit 27), and Kammerer (Exit 31) in Somerset and South Strabane Townships. Planned work through 2027 includes:
- Milling and paving along I-70
- Milling and paving at the Route 519/Eighty Four, Dunningsville, and Kammerer interchanges
- Base repairs
- Drainage upgrades
- Shoulder replacements
- Slope repairs
- Signage replacements
- Guiderail upgrades
- Delineation upgrades
- Jacking of the bridge over Route 519
